Oh, behold al' thy people, as your land is under attack by the badly dinosaur!
and one got left behind
please don't be sad
for the fairy godmother shall grant you a wish
that's a rather fishy story you're telling me dear fairy!
So lest we fight and poke!
and call for help...

Elvis got up from the dead!

and only finally got my knight in shining armour!

It is the only day that you can be as green as you want. I don't care how green with envy you are of me because all that matters is that it's a public holiday. Biaqpi that St Paddy's is believed to be celebrated for driving snakes away from Ireland, which I think is mostly fictional anyway. I think it was to honour their Pagan history.

As I did last year, I went to watch the parade, only this time, I donned a smaller leprechaun hat, and stood along Christchurch. I didn't take as many photos of myself, because I didn't quite feel like it. Growing up, perhaps? ;P.

Ko nak celen gigi aku?

This time around, the parade seems that of Pesta Flora and Fauna Malaysia.I remember vividly going with my aunt. Be it Pesta Flora 93,94,95, you name it, we went. The characters in the parade were so fictional and wizardly, that I'm starting to doubt the heritage. Haha. I'm kidding!.

Flowers growing in the middle of your city perhaps?
and Mr Bees come to attack your pollens!!

Honestly, I would've thought there was some sort of theme for the parade, but I can't see an correlation in any of them, thus I'm making up my own puzzle of story..

Unggassssss Mak Ngahh

And the smell of bunga kantan, belacan, lengkuas and serai, blended with the Irish air, simply made the eating sensation, certainly, well worth it albeit the lack of cucumber, daun kesum and nenas. It lacked in the sweet and sour after taste.
Yes, I've been brought up with a silver spoon in my mouth. Yes, even while cooking up a dish, my family's maid have prepared all the ingredients needed. The chili would have been blended and kept in the fridge, so does the shallots and onions and what not. I would just have to add in all the ingredients and stir and taste it to perfection.
So when I was left with the cili kering, to be blended into chili paste, and to cut the right amount of onions and lengkuas and serai, I was left astounded.Equipped with an Internet and the telephone, I called my mum. Oh, the mum is in Kuantan, and there is no Maxis coverage there. The internet had all the recipes, but not the basic recipe or guide on to the how-do-thee-blend-a-chili. And, yes, as much as I depend on technology, nothing beats, being with old-skool-pro in cooking. Who else if not you very own mother, or grandmother?..
As much as I (think), I like to cook., there is a major improvement that needs to be done. It's back to basics baby.
So, that's all folks for my laksa adventure....
