Ok I give up, this jet lag or whatever you call it is a bit of an annoyance really. It's been what, almost 5 days now and both my parents and I are still in and out of sleep at night and just like today, what better way to spend the night together, with hot milo in hand , watching repeats of American Idol. Yes, American Idol, out of all shows on Astro.
And how ironic is it that MTv is after playing Simple Plan's Jet Lag song right now? Anyway, I wanted to write a little about our short trip to London-Dublin-Barcelona , but seriously, the lack of pictures was something I didn't expect, but happened. I don't know why, maybe because it all felt like I was in London for my then usual trips to London and then there's Dublin. Oh god, how do I even start writing about revisitng Dublin after only 10 months? It saddens me, but I was happy. In a true nak kena penyepak style, I felt like I was going home.
Ok, let's not jump to Dublin just yet, as there was drama involved on our flight to Dublin, which I will write later. But London, ahhh well I have always loved London. I've always loved how there's so many places to visit or things to do. But, when your aunt's place is just off Edgeware Road, which also means, The Oxford Street is just 5-7 minutes walk from her apartment, is that shopping suicide or what? Well, for my two aunts it is, but for somebody with very limited money, setakat Primarks tu, no big deal ah kan? I don't understand how Primarks is so full of people right from when their doors open till they close. It's just crazy. I mean yes the prices are crazy cheap too, but seriously, it's crazy in Primarks in Marble Arch.
Oh, incase you are wondering what else did we do in London.....we didn't do anything. No touristy visits because well everyone has been to London before, so we were just eagerly waiting for my sister's graduation in Dublin and our short trip to Barcelona. Oh and because I walk everywhere with my mum, and she's not too good when it comes to bright lights, she couldn't take nice pictures of me. So you'll probably be able to see like half a neck or something.
To be continued..
