So there I was today in Caring pharmacy down in Empire Subang to get myself some cotton pads when a lady approached me to get my skin analysed for free. Happy days. Not only is it free, it was only for 5 minutes. As any other analysis done, she used a microscope machine to show how "hydrateS" or "dryING" my skin is and what can be done to my scars. After scarring me, I mean scaring me with my own face, she gave me some tips which could help reduce my problematic areas. The first thing she told me was to increase my collagen intake so it could "faster" my healing process and then she told me to stop using whitening products for a while. That stopped me at my tracks. Whoever said I use Whitening products? Why do most sale assistants assume all Asians want to look fairer and are using these whitening products? At least God gave me enough skin with just enough melanin to not have Vertigo. It's the pimples and scars that I have problems with. Sheesh..but since she was a nice lady and she didn't promote any products for my terrible skin, I said thank you, smiled and continued shopping in Caring.
I love to look at skincare products. But it never fail to amaze me how she-Males are the ones giving us ladies advice on our beauty/facial routine. One she-Male came up to me while I was browsing through the Bio Essence products and did some explaining about the products and upon finding out that I like Mineral make up and organic skincare told me that their products are "Tropical" and will be good for me. I wasn't interested in their facial wash, but I didn't mind getting a moisturizer, tropical or not.
"Here, try this. It is a face lifting cream, many people have tried this and it can "Slimming" your face. Wahhh, so of course he got my attentionla, eventhough I know, no magic cream will transform my full face to one with a defined jawline. Oh and soon, when I get that defined jawline (*rolls eyes*) , together with my "high cheekbones", I will look like I did Botox to my cheeks. The things sale assistants tell you...aitellyew!
And so I had a closer look at the Packaging of the Magic Elixir which purportedly slim faces so you will no longer be called....BREADFACE. Seriously? They have a term for people with fuller face. Boohoo!

Anddddd I actually went ahead and got the moisturizer.>_< . Not because I fell for his promises and tales, but because I think it's convenient to have one in my gym bag. I'm so good at justifying my purchases aren't I?
So any of you breadfacer used this product before?
