Amsterdam Part Twee

 The weather on the second day was so lovely and thank god for that since we had planned to visit the Cheese Factory, Windmill and Clog Making factory in Koog Zaandijk. The ticket from Amsterdam Central costs about 5euros for a return ticket.

There are directions around the area and there are quite a number of tourists also heading to the same place, so you won't get lost. If all fail, there's GPS!

This is us in front of the windmill. Wikepedia says, A windmill is a machine which converts the energy of wind into rotational motion by means of adjustable vanes called sails. The main use is for a grinding mill powered by the wind, reducing a solid or coarse substance into pulp or minute grains, by crushing, grinding, or pressing.^[1][2] Windmills have also provided energy to sawmills, paper mills, hammermills, and windpumps for obtaining fresh water from underground or for drainage (especially of land below sea level).

The next stop is the Cheese factory and you can help yourself to the arrays of cheese on display. So all of us tried the cheese sampai burpppp. Hahah So ASIA kan? The cheese were so good, I don't know which animal it came from, but it tasted like MEAT. Or maybe because we haven't had our lunch then. Hehe.

We visited the Clog Factory next. Wikepedia says, A clog is a type of footwear traditionally worn by workers as protective clothing in factories, mines and farms. There are various types of clog. Traditional clogs are shoes or sandals made predominantly out of wood, and are associated with the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Galicia, Lithuania and Sweden. 

They didn't say anything about a lady with big feet.:D

The clog factory was our last visit at Koog. We left without getting any clogs because no one is really going to be using those clogs to be honest, but we bought those finger licking good cheese. Mmmhmmm..

That's it folks, it feels like I have been story telling this Amsterdam trip forever. So I'm not going to write what we did on the 3rd day, I might just show pictures instead.
