I might need to close down this blog, because it will tell a different story now that my sister is coming. Yes you heard me right, my elder sister will be coming to Dublin to pursue her degree in Film and Production in Griffith College.
As at writing, she is somewhere on air crossing the Afghan air way on Etihad. 7 hours till the two sisters are reunited. I left home at the age of 18 to study in Perak and had never stayed at home longer than 2 months. We were close but weren't as close as we used to. She started working long hours, and then I had moved to Dublin right after my graduation in 2006. So basically it would be 7 years since we have really stayed in the same room.
I have so many plans for myself and her. Among others, to cook Nasi Ayam for her for berbuka tomorrow and go for coffee after berbuka tomorrow. I would bring her to Griffith on Saturday and then she would need to help my housemates and I cook for Raya. Hehe. I am trying to make her feel as comfortable as possible because I do not want her to go through what I went through when I first arrived. Of course, without the shopping spree.
