There's a lot of things running in my mind right now as I read through (more like skim through) websites,blogs and magazine; all in the name of gaining knowledge. But really, how do we even know what is right and what is not since we humans tend to pick whatever we believe suit our thoughts.
Growing up and being forced to take responsibility and understand the cruel,harsh world is something that we were never really taught in school, you just grow with it. Much has been talk about what was thought to be the US recession, and the bullish European economy coming to an end very, very soon and bank cutting down on interest rates.
And that very last sentence made me think, how we never understand the work of others, until it hits you smack in the face. In the days before submitting the financial statements to the ISE, the external auditor that I was working with insisted on me disclosing the interest rates and ratings used by the brokers and banks. Out of all the 4 audit managers that I've worked with, he was the most rigid and articulate, that made me swear under my breath every hour.
Ye karena pabila bank menurunkan rega interest rate, dia nak pengguna spend dan ambik loan disebabkan lack of consumer spending and lending nowadays due to the unstability of the economy, people tend to be very cautious. And I read that it is time to get a fixed rate loan (sebab bila ekonomi dah ok, depa akan naikkan balik!! So cepat-cepat lah kita meng-refinancekan

PS- I had actually wanted to discuss the atrocious price of Basmati rice in Dublin, and all major rice prices all over the world. The ban from India and Myanmar from exporting their rice has made my eating experience in Dublin suffer.(Haha). There was a sign on Asia Food's wall, the grocery store where I get my Halal meat, apologizing for the increase of basmati price by twofold and that there's nothing they can do about it.
The problem is that there is approximately 5,000 Malaysians in Dublin itself and thousands of other Asians. So if you do the math, you will know why the effect of increase in the price of nasik is also felt in DUBLIN. To add salt to the wound, the Irish has started to develop a love for Curry and Rice.
