Absence makes the heart grows fonder they say. I wonder whether there's any hearts out there eager to read my updates.Aeniways, my absence from the blogging scene is not from the lack of stories but the abundance of it.
Let's start off with the surprise that was suppose to be, but the loudspeaker dad accidentally "whispered" to my mom about the so called surprise visit from the second brother, Aqim. No, no I really wasn''t eavesdropping. And no, none of my friends told me about it either.
Life has been hectic, juggling between studies and playing tour guide. But mostly of the latter.:) First night that my brother arrived, we had dinner at Momo's;kebab and chips. Honestly, I can't recall much sight seeing with my brother, but more of the shopping venues. It's to Dundrum in Balally on thesecond day of arrival, and already he bought a coupla stuffs.
Our initial trip around Ireland was cancelled, due to my dad's C factor; COLD and COSTS, but mostly of the former I suspect.Much to my brother's relief but my dissapointment. But, summer it is then!. We did however, rented a Fiat Punto, for Euro 30 a day, and headed to Belfast. To a place called Antrim, famous for Junction One. An outlet which sells branded items at low prices. But, it wasn;t as I expected, but it was alrite, as dad said "It's the journey, not the destination".
The road leading to Belfast was rather smooth, thanks to Dad who drove all the way while the Co Pilot happily snapped away. Mind you, not of the senery, but of himself. Now that's what WE call perasan! Hehe.
We really didn't do much sight seeing, we hadn;t enough time to get to the city center, since dark is early, and we had to head home before it gets dark! We did manage pictures from the car though. Although, as Dad might add in " Your photos no standard wan..not like mine".. OK ok, no eye for picture mah..wat to do. (but it's because of the moving car! really!).
Belfast is quite a quiet town, but thay do have good shopping areas.Hehe, there are a few small towns on the way there, which actually reminds me of the American movies. (you get stuck at a small town, where everyone knows everyone!)
Pssst..and of course, a picture of yours truly! Totally uncensored, the jerawats and double you know what!
The next day my parents and only other sibling here, went to the Canal and did some sight seeing around the city.Since I had classes!!. My dad can now play tour guide, since he got lost a couple days back and stumbled into the other part of Dublin that he finds artistic. But let's leave that to him to show off the pictures he took. You may find them here!
Oh, by the way, the reason I'm up at the wee hours of the morning is because we just got back from Kak Su's apartment. Lovely food, Ikan Mackeral, Ayam Kuah like Percik, and desserts! Main reason was to actually play with that little bundle of joy- Qystina Nur Athirah. Such a cute baby, that AFEQ you better hurry up!Hehe! That's twice a reminder for Afeq this month alone!
