How many times have you heard fellow Malaysians complaining on how boring Malaysia is? I hope you take back you words, as Ireland is nothing compared to Malaysia. In terms of size, Ireland and Malaysia is on par and Euro is definitely stonger than Ringgit.
So as the clock strikes 12, and the mice went out to play at Christchurch, there were no fireworks to be seen, neither was there any concert or parade to watch. All there was, was the sound of bells from the church as it reached 12 o'clock. Pathetic isn;t it? I was part of them 'visitors or tourists' crowd waiting for , the very least a firework.
And, people were cheering at 12,followed by champagne popping (or whatever terms u have). And that was it.Oh and a "Hare Krishna" followers(which were all Whites) chanting their ancient prayers to a good new year or something. I guess the people prefer to crowd the already crowded bars to drink themselves fishy. We instead went bingeing at Eddies, discussing how Malaysia is way better in terms of entertainment. Well at least there;s fireworks, at least they have good programmes on television.
As we were heading home, The George bar (which is a 'rainbow' bar) was closed. There were garda (police) outside the bar, and there were glass everywhere outside the bar. There was an ambulance too out there. Either somebody got too excited and push themself silly, or somebody got shot.
So here I am at 215 am, blogging about my wonderful new year celebration (or the lack of it). To a good year, may evrything fall into place and bring me lots of cash!

personally I'm the kind of guy that really enjoy silence when going through new year's eve, just as last night.....staying alone in this boring, empty, little sized rent room :)

maybe i'm just a guy who think that new year's eve is the moment to reflect my life in the past years......

So be it if Ireland not that crowded huahahaha :)
