We had a Healthy Food CLub Meeting just now. It's obvious that when they mentioned food, a lot more people than usual turned up. Free Food mah! Healthy summore! No need to be guilty wan!!
SInce the nutrition club consists of people from all over the world, we had dishes from different parts of the globe. Japan, China, Malaysia, Croatia, Ireland ,Malaysia, just to name a few. So you have all the sweet, salty, sour and pungent taste. The first meal prepared by Orli a.k.a MekSalleh is called Khoser (dunno if the spelling is right), which was a mixture of peas, garlic, bla bla bla , which tasted so good with the pita bread!
Jason a.k.a Mr MalaTofe prepared sweet sour Tofu, which most of the Matsallehs were impressed. Well, to me, having brought up in a multiracial country, Chinese Food is pretty common. ( We used to eat chinese food like every weekend, no wonder lah kan?? abah?!) But the tofu tasted great nevertheless. Then Akira the Japanese engineer made Miso soup. Only to be found guilty of using Instant Miso Soup! Aiseh man! Some of the people there have not heard of Miso Soup. Hmm, that's weird..or is just us Malaysians where we know all types of food?!!
Oh and of course, there was the classic salad and pasta made by Antonio (yeah real Italiano dude!). Hmm, wait is pasta a healty choice??...One wonders, one stopped wondering and one consumed without thinking twice.Hehe. Well as for us Malaysians, we prepared Lontong. Which turned out to be a great success because it contained the most vegetables! Carrots, Long Beans, Cabbage, Tofu,Vermicelli. Yeah! and dessert was prepared by Asma-Bingka Ubi and Ubi Rebus cicah kelapa. Adoihhhh....Sedap lah cammaner??!!
To neutralize our food intake, Orli made for us Sparkling Thermotea and Mochas Shake. My tummy was full by then. So the meeting ended with the Entreprenuer Club Meeting..........Oklah can;t crap much longer..im getting sleepy!
Ciow Bella (Antonio taught us that!)
