I ordered Icekimo from one of those small standalone booth that sells a variety of food. in Sunway Pyramid today. Icekimo,is shaved flavoured ice. So the lady who took my order then took out two bricks of mango flavoured ice and put it on the ice shaving machine. One of the ice then fell of the machine and landed on the table.
She suddenly stopped the machine, and put the ice which was still on the machine back into the freezer, and without a second taught, picked the one that is on the table and continued shaving the ice for my order. I stared in disbelief, and stopped her and questioned her. "Excuse me, that fell on the table, isn't that not dirty?".
Without looking back at me, she answered with only a slighthesitation "Ya ini bersih lah, takde kotor, lepas pakai kita selalu mop!" (This table is clean, it is not dirty, we mop it after use!".) OMG, are you kidding me? I seriously wanted to knock my head on the table 10 times. Seriously, you tell me you MOP the table? and it is clean?
The only thing left for me to do is think that all these while, all the Mamak/Mapleys lagi unhygienic. What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger kan?

Ewww! Right, the fact that she "mops" the table just made it 10 x better. You're right, we should really think twice before eating out!
